Cozy doesn't cover the elbowroom-only counter service at Pete's. But when a place is crowded, it usually means the food is either cheap or good. In the case of Pete's, it's consistently both. Feeding both hung-over college students and sun-up construction workers, Pete's doesn't shy away from serving up blue-collar delicacies like scrapple. All the food is great, freshly prepared every morning. As for cleanliness, it is clean, the building is just old! Best service in town!

I LOVE THIS PLACE. Its walking distance to Charles Village and Ednor Gardens. Its really not a place for those "county people" who find the place "not safe". The service is very good; the ladies who work there do a excellent job. The food is good and you get a lot for the value. I have never met Pete though. If you are a city person you have to try it!
