Hogan's gets you drunk and full of home cooking on the cheap. Wander in on a weekday, squeeze into the dark and narrow bar room, and treat yourself to a pint of Bud and a codfish platter while you catch up on your favorite Leave it to Beaver reruns. And don't forget to grab a couple cans from their extensive self-service beer coolers on your way out.

I don't know how this place is still open. The employees are rude and are usually drunk behind the bar. The newer owner is a pervert and really creepy. He stood behind me drunk breathing down my neck when I was in there recently right next to my boyfriend. Nothing there seems to be sanitary either. You can literally see all of the built up grime on the kitchenware, the bar tools, soda dispensers, and other things. Many of the customers are also very sketchy and seemingly dangerous...I've stopped going there since the owner got really creepy and I saw a drug deal happening in the back room.
It just doesn't seem like a safe, sanitary, or friendly place. I've lived in the area for years and there are much better places around. Steer clear of this place at all costs.
