The cinematic feast that is the annual Maryland Film Festival returns to the Charles Theatre and environs, offering scores of feature-length movies and shorts, all introduced by the filmmakers or others associated with them. Opening night shorts include "I am John Wayne," "The Kook," "Modern Man," "Cork's Cattlebaron" and "Fishing without Nets." The closing night film is Todd Solondz' "Dark Horse," starring Selma Blair, Mia Farrow and Christopher Walken. Solondz and cast members will be in attendance.
