2012 Virgin Mobile FreeFest headliners include: indie rocker Jack White, dubstep king Skrillex and rapper Nas. Festival's lineup also includes M83, ZZ Top, Santigold, Alabama Shakes, Ben Folds Five, the Dismemberment Plan, Das Racist, Portugal The Man, Trampled by Turtles and Allen Stone.

| Worth Noting | Tickets will be available at noon Aug. 24 at TicketFly. A presale will be held Aug. 23 for Virgin Mobile Live's Twitter followers. Those who attended previous festivals, as well as Virgin Mobile customers, will also get access to the presale. There will be no surcharge for tickets printed at home or picked up at Merriweather or the 9:30 Club in Washington. Again this year, organizers are asking fans to donate to REGeneration, Virgin Mobile's effort to end youth homelessness. |
