Description
Club Charles has the same moody red lighting as every other hipster bar in the city, but it maintains its place as the best club to show off your ironic mustache and skinny man jeans. Where else can you find a bartender who doubles as a trapeze artist or a minotaur painted on a bathroom wall?

Club Charles has been my favorite joint since 1998! I still think it is the coolest place in baltimore except that the jukebox became crappy. It at one point had lots of funk, sinatra tom waits, and great old country music such as Cash, Williams Senior and lounge jazz and acid jazz. Now it is Hipster style. I still say the bar tenders and the regulars are worth getting to know. (the old regulars) Hit the Club C! It is worth the visit and the history behind the joint. Club C was rated as one of the 20 best Dive Bars in the US at one point. No matter how much the crowd changes, I will drop in at Club C once in a while.

This is a great bar. Best place to scope out old drunks playing indie-hipster and girls who lie about their age. Atmosphere & drinks fun and cool. Go here for the last stop on the way....where?

Great bar with low priced drinks and a great atmosphere. The jukebox needs some work, but the space is great for group socialiIng and debaucherous libation....
