Description

This pizza joint/rum bar suffers from a bit of an identity crisis. While the house specialty risottos are good and satisfying, the square (get it?) thin-crust pizza is only OK. Luckily, the cocktail and beer lists are long and thirst-quenching. Its location—in one of B-more's up-and-coming neighborhoods—could place Joe's at the center of a cultural Renaissance within Baltimore.

    "Favorite Baltimore Restaurant"

    Posted by LizzieBee18-MMX on 09/23/2008
    5 stars

I visit Baltimore only 2 or 3 times year and always make it a point to go to Joe Squared at least once a visit. Last time I went twice. Their wings are TO DIE FOR and, while it's not in the best neighborhood, it's worth the visit. The prices are good and their staff is friendly and attentive. I have tried approximately half of their menu and have yet to be disappointed, but I do suggest the wings or the pizza. Being from Upstate NY it's hard to please me when it comes to Buffalo Wings, but the cook knows what he's doing. The drink selection is fantastic and they often have live music. I recommend this place to anyone I know who is going to Baltimore and I guarantee you will enjoy it.

    "Wonderfully Different"

Food is different but very good. Large portions. Gourmet Food. Service was wonderful. Atmosphere is relaxing. Give it a try. Parking is not bad during the day as they are open for lunch and at night you can park behind the restaurant.
